This was the second series tournament being held at Shah Satnam Ji Stadium every year.
Eight Nationally reputed teams participated.
Most of the teams had a number of Ranji as well as National level players.
Parveen Kumar was adjudged the Man of the Tournament who later was taken as a member of Indian Cricket Team.
U.P.XI stole the limelight by winning the Third True Trophy in an all-round performance beating Sonnet Club.
